Anyway, for those of you who don't know your geography and stuff.. "Bolivia is a landlocked country in central South America. It is bordered by Brazil to the north and east, Paraguay and Argentina to the south, and Chile and Peru to the west.

Bolivia is a Democratic Republic that is divided into nine departments. Its geography is varied from the peaks of the Andes in the West, to the Eastern Lowlands, situated within the Amazon Basin. It is a developing country and has a poverty level around 60%. Its main economic activities include agriculture, forestry, fishing, mining, and manufacturing goods such as textiles, clothing, refined metals, and refined petroleum. Bolivia is very wealthy in minerals, especially tin.

The Bolivian population, estimated at 10 million, is multiethnic, including Amerindians, Mestizos, Europeans, Asians and Africans. The main language spoken is Spanish, although the Aymara and Quechua languages are also common and all three, as well as 34 other indigenous languages, are official."
So I had to learn Spanish of course. I started in Singapore last feb with Jonathan, a Spanish language teacher in SG. I highly recommend him for those who wanna learn Spanish in Sg. His website is http://www.bridgesa.net/ Do check it out!
Needless to say, going there for a medical attachemtn, I had to (try my best to) pick up medical Spanish. Let me tell you this, it has been "doing my tits it" (as Kerry would say). Thank goodness I have Marissa to teach me. I can never get things done properly by myself. (Don't laugh) And well, to be fair, nothing abt preparation for this trip has been an easy ride. From visiting tour agencies, to getting documents notarized, to vaccinations.......... On the bright side, I'm well excited to get outta St Andrews once again..esp to Bolivia! Kinda had enough of not having lessons, bumming abt and working as a waitress! This is gonna be one hell of an adventure! Throwing myself into the sea (basically, feeding the sharks)! Nevertheless, a crazy adventure it would be! EGGCITED.

Be sure to check my blog out from time to time! Wish me luck! :)
